The video begins humorously as Anthony Carbajal, a photographer, dresses up in a neon bikini top and soaps up a car before being doused with ice water.
"There’s not very much incentive for the pharmaceutical companies to invest the billions of dollars to develop a drug because I’m not profitable. I’m not worth saving."
This? Sucks and is terrible, but is true. It’s the same reason that drug companies are pulling back from things like tuberculosis or other diseases that mostly affect undeveloped countries: they know that the people who need it most are poor and that they won’t make very much money off them. I can understand. They’re not charities, after all.
Which makes it all the more important that we ramp up government and charitable research in these areas (there are a lot of rare diseases out there that are in the same boat. Google “rare disease” or “orphan disease”, if you want to be depressed.) Because if we, the Youtube-watching public, do not make this a priority, then no one will.
People are prettiest when they talk about something they really love with passion in their eyes.

Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye #14
I’d be remiss if I did not post Overlord’s baby picture. Killing innocents only 6 hours after emerging from the ground. Amazing.
